WIA PROGRAM ORIENTATION, Worknet Northern Cook County
The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) combines federally-funded job training programs in Illinois into a “workforce development” system where individuals can find a job or train for a new career. Services are provided through the Illinois workNet Center. Please come in or call our Evanston Office for more information.
ORIENTATIONS ARE HELD AT THE FOLLOWING SITES:
Center for Professional Development:
Westfield Old Orchard; Skokie, IL 60077 (Held from 9:00 am-12 noon)
Tuesdays - April 1, 15; May 6, 20; June 3, 17
Skokie Public Library:
5215 Oakton; Skokie, IL 60077 (Held from 9:30 am-12:30 pm)
Thursdays - April 10; May 8; June 12
Evanston Office:
1615 Oak Ave.; Evanston, IL 60201 (Held from 9:00 am-12 noon)
Thursdays - April 3, 17, 24; May 1, 15, 22, 29; June 5, 19, 26
